 We had a great Tuesday today! Giraffes were very popular as we read "The Giraffe Who Found Its Spots" and made giraffe headbands.




As for play-based learning, we used Play-Doh and cookie cutters to make and identify different animals.


There are different animals for every environment so we made sure to go over which animals belong on a farm and which belong in a jungle.


For an interactive learning experience, we used Boom Cards to count and search for different animals in the jungle!



Lastly, we challenged our campers to match and identify different animals to their animal skins and then match two of the same animals together.





We are excited to see everyone tomorrow!

 Happy Thursday! We had a day full of fun and excitement with all of the kids and their families! We loved having everyone wear their safari hats in the jungle! We read Peek-a-boo Jungle. We practiced our gross motor skills by moving around like our favorite animals in the jungle! We played "Pin the Trunk on the Elephant" The kids had a blast during music therapy with Mrs. Laura And finally, we ended summer camp with a water party! We have enjoyed spending our summer with all of these amazing children! We have seen them learn and improve. We will truly miss seeing these kids on a daily basis this summer, we hope to see you all next summer! Have a fantastic summer!
