 Happy Wednesday! Today, our campers were sent home with their camp T-shirts that we would like them to wear tomorrow. We started today by reading Rumble In The Jungle, giving our campers an idea of how different animals behave in the jungle.




Next, we read What's In The Jungle. With this book, campers were given different animals to match to certain pages, allowing them to interact with the book.








For craft time, the campers were able to showcase their artistic abilities by coloring the jungle and adding animal stickers!


We played Rescue The Animal and traced animal tracks to tackle our fine motor skills. To "rescue the animal", the campers unzipped Ziploc bags and aluminum foil to reveal a random jungle animal!

Practicing our gross motor skills featured jumping like a kangaroo and imitating other animals that live in the jungle!

 Happy Thursday! We had a day full of fun and excitement with all of the kids and their families! We loved having everyone wear their safari hats in the jungle! We read Peek-a-boo Jungle. We practiced our gross motor skills by moving around like our favorite animals in the jungle! We played "Pin the Trunk on the Elephant" The kids had a blast during music therapy with Mrs. Laura And finally, we ended summer camp with a water party! We have enjoyed spending our summer with all of these amazing children! We have seen them learn and improve. We will truly miss seeing these kids on a daily basis this summer, we hope to see you all next summer! Have a fantastic summer!
